Introduction to Pilates

Gabby will be offering a taster (an introduction to) Pilates workshop at Yoga Reading,concentrating on key points such as postural alignment, stability and muscle engagement.

Developed in the 20th Century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates is a body conditioning system of exercise designed to improve posture and alignment and to tone, strengthen and improve flexibility. The Pilates approach focuses on core stability, positive alignment, balance and breathing. It is a subtle, non impact approach suitable for all levels of fitness. Working at your own pace, you will strengthen, streamline and realign your body.

About Gabby

Gabby is a holistic health and fitness coach specialising in Pilates and Hatha Yoga. Drawing from her various qualifications within the health and fitness industry, including a BSc hons degree in Sports Science, Gabby uses her skill set to create a unique Pilates experience connecting mind and body through postural awareness and functional movement.
