In this workshop we will explore movements inspired by play, curiosity, dance, functional movement and yoga!

Sophie began her movement journey at the age of 4 when she started dancing. She danced daily attending theatre school until the age of 12. Later, she came back to movement through the medium of Yoga in her late teens and trained to be a Yoga Teacher teacher in 2009. Sophie has explored various styles of yoga focussing most specifically on Ashtanga Yoga (which was her main practice for 12 years) with a healthy dose of Iyengar Yoga. Sophie never lost her joy of dancing and spent some of these years getting very into Lindy Hop!
In 2018 Sophie began exploring other styles of movement including Functional Mobility or FRC and Feldenkrais and started bringing strength training into her own practice. She also learnt to swim!
Sophie now loves to mix up all the modalities she has learnt in her 40 years of movement practice and shares her knowledge with a sense of fun and empowerment.
