Food for life: The cooking workshops
A weekend of restoring and creating a lifetime of wonder for what you eat.
Exploring what we should all know about the food we eat, so we can make informed and practical eating choices for our health and wellbeing.
- Ideas for weekly recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Meal planning hacks for busy people
- All important pick me up snacks
- How to bring diversity, flavour and balance to what you eat through a combination of simple and artisanal approaches to raw, fermented, cooked and baked food.
Taking into account individual dietary requirements or allergies, Nathan will help you make informed and practical eating choices by recognising that what we eat fuels the body, supports our health and wellbeing, and brings an abundance of joy and delight to our lives.
Movement for life: The yoga and strength classes
Find new ways to move and build strength.
Katia will offer morning yoga classes, a strength for yoga workshop and evening relaxation classes using a blend of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Pranayama (breathwork).
Katia will weave her clinical knowledge into the classes she offers. You can also ask for individual guidance on alignment, posture and exercise rehabilitation.
About the Accommodation
Launceston Farm is a lavish Georgian farmhouse with six elegant ensuite bedrooms.
On either side of the farmhouse are two luxurious self-contained one-bedroom cottages. Each cottage has its own living room, kitchen and private courtyard with an outdoor bath to supplement the indoor shower room.
The venue has wellness facilities on site including a beautiful yoga room with exposed beams and underfloor heating, access to over 900 acres of organic farmland with miles of trails for walking, an indoor biomass heated swimming pool and sauna and a range of versatile indoor and outdoor spaces ideal for exploring and relaxing.
The whole estate is exceptionally picturesque, every detail has been carefully considered to provide the utmost comfort and the surrounding countryside is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Launceston Farm is a 10 minute drive to the market town of Blandford Forum and is a forty minute drive to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Yoga
Yoga classes will take place in The Workshop – a private, tranquil studio space with plenty of natural light streaming through the windows. You’re welcome to join as many or as few classes or activities as you wish.
Relaxation
As well as the beautiful grounds, there is lots of local countryside you can explore nearby. Or perhaps you want to chill out in the reception rooms with a book or take a dip in the heated indoor pool. The choice is yours!
